Profile:

My advertising mission is to defy convention and create work that is, in Bill Bernbach’s words, “impossible to ignore.”  I’ve helped launch a successful NYC youth marketing agency and created award-winning work for major global brands. I’m helping develop the next gen of ad creatives as an instructor at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

Experience:

HAVAS Village X & Health4Brands, New York, NY. November 2021 to present

Developing creative for leading pharma brands in the rheumatoid arthritis and UC space. Recently developed website and core messaging materials for a “smart” asthma inhaler device aimed at both DTC and HCP audiences.

Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness,  New York, NY, Sept 2020 to October 2021

Creative lead on an oncology brand tasked with launching a new patient support program, including brand identity exploratory, HCP and patient website redesign, video, digital and print marketing materials. Also have worked on major medications for rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis. 

DDB, New York, NY, January 2014 to August 2020

Led the creative work for Merck’s diabetes franchise at DDB. Grew the Januvia brand and secured its leadership position in the highly competitive diabetes category. Launched Steglujan (type 2 diabetes) and Zepatier (Hep C) brand in digital media and print.  “Birthed” the launch campaign for Keytruda, a targeted cancer immunotherapy. Also handled creative duties on Teva (ashtma) and J&J (Ethicon). Created the USGA’s national campaign promoting the US Open golf tournament. Handled all retail & B-to-B marketing for ExxonMobil. Successfully launched Uber online content to celebrate its partnership with ExxonMobil.

UPROAR! New York, NY  January 2001 – January 2014

Charter CD in the New York office of this fledgling youth marketing agency. I named the new agency and helped it grow into the largest youth targeted agency in the US, when Hasbro consolidated all of its advertising with us. Playskool, Topps Candy, & MLB Players Association were among our clients.

DDB, New York, NY.  December 1999 - January 2001

Creative Director at DDB’s flagship office where I was responsible for creative work on Merck’s Singulair brand, and the Hasbro portfolio including games like Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, and Battleship.
